‘Sea Change’ Short Film Festival Is Transformative
Nov 15, 2020 | 8:00 am - Nov 23, 2020 | 11:00 pm
The Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown presents its first short film festival, “Sea Change Film Shorts 2020,” which will be available for free streaming Sunday, November 15th through November 23rd, with registration at coastalstudies.org. It will be hosted by Barbara Moran, WBUR’s chief science editor, who will also moderate a Q&A session with Coastal Studies scientists.
The festival includes three shorts, one hour in total: Spinnaker, an award-winning short film by director Nadine Licostie about the life and death of a humpback whale, and two other short films about the dangers of microplastics. Registration also includes access to “Sea Chest 2020,” a collection of additional shorts curated by the Center for Coastal Studies.
