PorchFest Is On

Wellfleet PorchFest will host 29 different bands scattered across 16 local porches on Saturday, Aug. 28. Venues include the Wellfleet Public Library, local businesses, and private residences. Among the performers: The Cedars, Alex Brewer, the Chatham Fiddle Orchestra, Kathleen Healy, Stephen Russell, Jim Rohrer and Katie Hickey, and Thomasina Levy. There will be two sets: from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Visit wellfleetporchfest.org for a full list and map. The event is free, donations welcome.
