Pop-up of Paintings by Paul Hastings

The work of Provincetown plein air painter Paul Hastings will be on view at Gallery 444 at 444 Commercial St. over Columbus Day weekend, from Friday, October 9th, through Monday, October 12th. “Painting outdoors is not for everyone,” Hastings writes in the announcement for the show. “The conditions are not always ideal, but it forces me to think in a particular way — to focus on the spirit of the scene and capture it quickly before the light changes.”
