New Works by John Dowd and Daphne Confar

Artists John Dowd and Daphne Confar have a show of new works at William Scott Gallery, 439 Commercial St. in Provincetown, opening Friday, June 25th and running through July 7th. Dowd, who lives in Provincetown and New York, paints mainly landscapes and houses enveloped in the golden light that happens just after sunrise, or the blue glow that happens just after sunset. Confar paints characterful portraits, birds, and plants in bright colors with a distinctly vintage feeling.
