How Well Do You Know Norman Rockwell?

The virtual winter-spring session of Lifetime Learning via Snow Library begins this week. Beth Stein teaches a class on the artist Norman Rockwell on Tuesday, February 2nd from 10:30 a.m. to noon. According to the course description, Rockwell “was a complicated individual, whose private life in no way reflected what appeared on his canvases. He also became controversial and politically active in the latter part of his career.”
There’s also “The Supreme Court in the Era of Its Conservative Majority,” taught by Jane Scarborough, on Monday, February 1st, from 10:30 a.m. to noon; “World War I: Its Causes and Consequences,” taught by Russ Leng, Tuesdays beginning February 2n, 1:30 to 3 p.m.; and “Super Musicals of the 1970s and 1980s,” taught by John Whelan, Wednesdays beginning February 3rd, 1:30 to 3 p.m. Registration is $10 per course at friendsofsnowlibrary.org.
