Helen Grimm, the ‘Alchemist’

Four Eleven Gallery, 411 Commercial St. in Provincetown, presents “Alchemy,” a show of new oil paintings by Helen Grimm, opening Friday, July 9th and running through July 22nd. These paintings take Grimm’s beloved seashell forms and tip them toward abstraction. Collectively, they create a conversation about transformation: taking the grist of daily life and turning it into the spiritual gold of transcendence. The gallery is open Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
