Buoyed at Longstreet Gallery

Keith MacLelland, co-owner of Longstreet Gallery, has a show of his work from Thursday, Aug. 12 through Aug. 29. An associate professor of illustration at Lesley University, MacLelland showcases his graphic skills in “Beacons,” a series of flashe paintings on birchwood panels and glass bottles. MacLelland adopts a primary palette of ocean blue, red, and yellow to create images of buoys that celebrate abstract design as well as Cape Cod’s waters. The gallery, located at 4730B Route 6 in Eastham, is open Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a reception on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m.
