Broto: Art-Climate-Science is holding a virtual conference, “Affinity,” on two Saturdays, December 5th and December 12th. The topic: exploring the nature-society partnership in the Anthropocene epoch. There are six virtual sessions over the two days: On December 5th, “Affinity: Between Art and Science,” “Bank of Nature,” and “Symbiosis: Art’s Knowledge of Nature”; on December 12th, “Interaction, Not Extraction,” “Business-Nature-Policy,” and “Denatured/Renatured.”
There is also an accompanying online art gallery, “Symbiosis,” featuring art by Renata Buziak, Anna Fine Foer, Juniper Harrower, and others. Registration for the conference is free at broto.eco.
