‘Bits and Bobs’ at Bowersock Gallery

“Insentient Bits and Bobs” opens Friday, Aug. 6 at Bowersock Gallery, 373 Commercial St. in Provincetown, and runs through Aug. 17. Erring on the side of hyper-realism and magical realism, the show includes work by Julie Beck, Natalie Featherston, Noriko Fox, Sydney Bella Sparrow, and Brittany Haynes. Also included: David Random’s mixed-media sculptures of found objects. The diversity of the work — political, humorous, traditional, modern — shows the versatility of the contemporary still life. There will be a reception on Friday, Aug. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m.
