EASTHAM — Nauset High baseball (7-1) extended its winning streak to 6 games with victories over Bristol Plymouth RVT and Bishop Stang on Friday and Monday.
The Warriors swept the season series with Bristol Plymouth, topping the Craftsman 4-0 behind senior pitcher Chase Beach’s complete game. Beach, who gave up only 3 hits and 3 walks and struck out 11, battled out of a bases-loaded jam with no outs in the top of the fourth to keep the game scoreless.
Nauset broke the deadlock in the home half of the inning when junior Ryan O’Keefe drove in two runs on a base hit to right field. The Warriors scored another run on a wild pitch before adding a fourth on a single by senior Kieran Handville.
The Warriors beat the Spartans 9-8 in extra innings, coming from behind after trailing 5-2 by posting 4 runs in the third. A single run in the eighth proved to be the difference in the game.
