EASTHAM — Strong performances from Nauset High’s girls soccer and football teams highlighted a busy week for the Warriors sports program.
Freshman quarterback Brendan Peno threw four touchdown passes and rushed for another in the Warriors’ 41-13 rout of Martha’s Vineyard last Friday. Senior Dillon White and sophomore Owen White each caught two touchdowns, and Logan Daniels Julien rushed for a touchdown of his own.

The Nauset girls won their sixth straight soccer match in a 4-1 victory over Martha’s Vineyard on their home field last Thursday. The Warriors trailed 1-0 before scoring four goals in a row to seal the win and move to 9-1-1 on the year. They were scheduled to host Sandwich High School on Tuesday, having won the teams’ previous match in Sandwich 1-0 on Sept. 15.
