EASTHAM — The Nauset High Warriors sports calendar will be in full swing this week.
Nauset football kicks off its season under new Head Coach Jesse Peno on the road against Norwell High School on Friday, while girls volleyball will play Rising Tide Public School followed by a game with St. John Paul II on Sept. 14.
The Warrior cross country teams will have a dual meet against Canton at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 in their first races of the year. Girls and boys soccer were both scheduled to play Tuesday, while field hockey was set to start their season on Wednesday. —Allen Gunn

Boys and Girls Cross Country: The Warriors host Canton at 4:30 p.m.
Boys Golf: Nauset faces Sandwich High at Sandwich Hollows Golf Club at 3:30 p.m.
Boys Soccer: Nantucket awaits Nauset at 4 p.m.
Girls Soccer: The Warriors host Pembroke High School at 5 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 9
Football: The Warriors open their season at Norwell High School at 6 p.m.
Girls Field Hockey: Nauset welcomes Carver Middle H.S. at 5 p.m.
Volleyball: The Warriors travel to Rising Tide Public School for a 4:30 p.m. match.
Monday, Sept. 12
Volleyball: Nauset visits Sturgis West for a match at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 13
Boys Golf: The Warriors head to Falmouth for a match at 3:30 p.m.
Boys Soccer: Nauset welcomes Martha’s Vineyard for a match at 4 p.m.
Girls Soccer: Nauset visits Martha’s Vineyard for a 3 p.m. tilt.
Wednesday, Sept. 14
Girls Field Hockey: Nauset travels to Martha’s Vineyard for a match scheduled for 3 p.m.
Girls Volleyball: The Warriors play St. John Paul II at 5:30 p.m.
