EASTHAM — The Cape Cod Furies girls ice hockey team finished out its regular season with losses to Pembroke and Falmouth. But not to worry: the Furies’ 13-4-3 record is good enough for them to make the state playoff tournament.
The same is true for the Nauset boys ice hockey team, as its 11-7-1 record at press time this week qualified the Warriors for the playoffs.
The team was scheduled to finish out its regular season on Tuesday against Plymouth South.
After winning the Winter Fest Tournament over Monomoy, Nauset’s boys basketball team is set to finish its regular season on Thursday at Nantucket. The Warriors have strong prospects heading into the postseason. (See related story on page A16.)
All three teams are waiting for the release of the MIAA state playoff schedule.
