EASTHAM — The Nauset boys baseball team got its first win of the season on April 7 after several scrimmages and games were postponed to start the season. The team beat Brockton High 10-0 at Eldredge Park in Orleans.
Senior Noah Clarke started the scoring with an RBI triple in the bottom of the fourth and then fellow senior Max Dio drove in Clarke with a single to give Nauset a 3-0 lead. Clarke added an RBI double in the next inning.
Nauset’s 10 runs came on 12 hits. Dio pitched five innings, allowing only two hits.
The same day, the Nauset boys lacrosse team earned a huge 11-10 overtime win at Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury. But the Warriors lost their next game, 9-8, at Bridgewater-Raynham on April 9. The team is off to a 3-1 season start. Its next scheduled game was on April 13 against Rockland.
The girls golf team is off to a 1-1 start after defeating Dennis-Yarmouth and a loss to Monomoy. Sophomores Bella Roberts and Sophia Carswell and freshman Sophie Sullivan were unbeaten through two matches.

Girls golf: The Nauset girls golf team competes against Falmouth at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster at 3:30 p.m.
Friday, April 15
Boys and girls tennis: Martha’s Vineyard hosts the Nauset boys at 3:30 p.m., while the Nauset girls play at home against the Vineyarders at 4 p.m.
Boys baseball: The Warriors travel to the island to play Martha’s Vineyard. First pitch is 3:15 p.m.
Girls softball: The Warriors host the Nantucket Whalers at 4 p.m.
Girls lacrosse: Plymouth North travels to Eastham for a 4 p.m. contest.
Saturday, April 16
Boys baseball: Nauset hosts Burlington for a noon game at Eldredge Park in Orleans.
Tuesday, April 19
Boys and girls lacrosse: The Warrior girls play St. John Paul II at Sandwich’s Pop Warner Field at 11 a.m. The boys play the same team at the same location at 1 p.m.
Boys baseball: Hopkinton High comes to Eldredge Park for a noon game.
