EASTHAM — The Nauset Regional High School boys lacrosse team got off to a blazing start with a 23-0 victory in its first game of the season against St. John Paul II on April 1. The team won its second game13-2 over Mansfield on April 5.
Next up are some tough opponents in Catholic Memorial and Rockland.
The girls lacrosse team fell 7-5 to St. John Paul II in its first game on March 31, and the girls softball team suffered a 22-1 loss to Wareham in its opening game the same day.
Nauset welcomes back its Special Olympics Unified Outdoor Track team this season. The program was suspended for the last two years. The team includes Nauset High athletes and members of the school’s Life Skills & Post-Grad community and will have its first meet this week.
Thursday, April 7
Girls golf: The Warriors play their second match of the season against the Monomoy Sharks at Captains Golf Course in Brewster at 3:30 p.m.
Coed sailing: The sailing team competes against Falmouth at the Falmouth Yacht Club at 4 p.m.
Coed unified outdoor track: Nauset’s unified track team hosts a meet against the Riverview School at the high school track at 4 p.m.
Boys lacrosse: The lacrosse team has a tough match at Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury at 5 p.m.
Friday, April 8
Girls softball: Nauset softball plays St. John Paul II at home at 4 p.m.
Boys and girls tennis: The boys play Bourne at home at 4 p.m. while the girls travel to Bourne for a match at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 9
Boys lacrosse: Bridgewater-Raynham hosts Nauset for a game beginning at noon.
Monday, April 11
Girls golf: The Nauset girls play the Monomoy Sharks at Eastward Ho Country Club in Chatham at 4 p.m.
Coed sailing: Nauset competes against Monomoy at Pleasant Bay Community Boating at 4 p.m.
Boys and girls tennis: The girls host St. John Paul II for a 4 p.m. match while the boys travel to play St. John Paul II at Sandwich High School at 6 p.m.
Coed unified outdoor track: The unified track team competes against Monomoy at Monomoy High in Harwich at 4:15 p.m.
Girls lacrosse: Nauset travels to Dennis-Yarmouth High for a 4:30 p.m. game.
Tuesday, April 12
Girls golf: The team travels for a match against Barnstable at 3:30 p.m.
Girls softball: Nauset plays at home against Monomoy at 3:30 p.m.
Boys and girls track: The Nauset track teams host a meet against the Sandwich Blue Knights at 4 p.m.
Coed sailing: The Warriors compete against Nantucket at the Orleans Yacht Club at 4 p.m.
Girls lacrosse: Mashpee comes to Eastham for a 4:30 p.m. game.
Boys and girls tennis: The Nauset boys play at Norwell High School at 4:30 p.m. while the girls face Norwell at home at the same time.
Wednesday, April 13
Boys and girls tennis: The Nauset boys host Dennis-Yarmouth for a match at 4 p.m. while the girls travel to D-Y for a 4:30 p.m. match.
Boys baseball: The Warriors play Dennis-Yarmouth at 4:30 p.m. at Eldredge Park in Orleans.
Girls softball: Dennis-Yarmouth hosts Nauset for a 4:30 p.m. game.
Boys lacrosse: The Warriors travel to another out-of-conference match against Rockland High School at 5 p.m.
