Bob Keary and Peter Sullivan tied the knot on Oct. 16, 2021 after 14 years together. “We prefer not to rush into things,” Keary said. The wedding was celebrated on an unseasonably warm October Saturday at Provincetown’s Red Inn, where the couple have worked together since 2011. The rain predicted for the day miraculously held off until almost midnight, so the couple plan to claim the “it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day” thing, even though it was sunny and beautiful during the afternoon ceremony. Max Geller of Truro presided over the festivities, which ended in a surprise concert featuring some of Provincetown’s most beloved and talented entertainers: Jonathan Hawkins, Qya Cristál, Harrison Fish, Mike Flanagan, Roxanne Layton, and Ian Leahy. The couple wish to thank family and friends from all over who not only surrounded them with love on that day but do so every day.
