EASTHAM — Last year was difficult for high school athletes, especially those who play fall sports. Rule changes in soccer altered the game, forcing players to avoid contact. The football season was moved to the spring to allow more time for administrators to decide whether the sport should be played at all.
Fan attendance at Nauset Regional High School games was extremely limited.
This season, Nauset fall sports are back to their regular schedules and will be played without Covid-induced rule changes.
The boys golf team has already played its first match, defeating Sturgis East Charter School last week.
The football team will play its first fall game in two years when the Warriors take on the Pembroke Titans at home on Friday, Sept. 10.
