The Community Development Partnership (CDP) has increased the maximum amount that can be borrowed through its small business loan program from $40,000 to $50,000. Loans are available to both startup and established businesses. Clients have included yogis, artists, mechanics, fishermen, landscapers, chocolatiers, baristas, and restaurateurs. Pictured here are Amy Costa and Molly Costa (no relation), founders of Cape Cod Kombucha, who expanded their business with a CDP small business loan. The business loan program is designed to help low- to moderate-income small business owners on the Lower and Outer Cape who may not yet be in a position to receive a bank loan. The lending program includes technical assistance provided by the CDP. —Teresa Parker (Photo courtesy CDP)
