Notice is hereby filed that the Wellfleet Historical Commission will hold a remote Public Hearing on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2025 AT 5:00 PM. for the following:
Pearse Square Properties LLC, 70 Main Street, Map 15, Lot 5. Proposed removal and possible relocation of a ca.1950 shed and lean-to of approximately 569 sq. ft.
Hearing is held in conformity with the provisions of Chapter 30A, Massachusetts General Laws, and Ch. 2 of the Acts of 2023.
Said meeting will be open to the public and the press virtually, as required by the provisions of the Open Meeting Law, to virtually attend through Zoom Video Conferencing.

SELECT BOARD
In accordance with Chapter 369 of the Acts of 1982, amending Chapter 797 of the Acts of 1979, notice is hereby given that the Wellfleet Select Board will hold a public hearing on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025 AT 6:00 P.M. on the issue of allocating the local property tax levy among the five classes for Fiscal Year 2026. (Chapter 40, Section 56 as amended by Chapter 369 of the Acts of 1982)
Options open to the Town will be provided, and any taxpayer wishing to present oral or written information on their views will be recognized by the Chair. At the hearing, the Board of Assessors will provide all information and data relevant to making a final determination on the allocation of the tax burden among the five classes of real property: residential, open space, commercial, industrial, and personal property as set forth in Chapter 40 Section 56.
Instructions for remote participation will be posted on the Town’s website at wellfleet-ma.gov.

INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Town of Wellfleet, the Awarding Authority, is seeking sealed bids for the Herring River Restoration Project – Low-Lying Roadways and Associated Elements Construction for the Town of Wellfleet, Massachusetts in accordance with the project bid documents.
Sealed bids will be received by the Town Administrator, Town of Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as Awarding Authority until 11:00 AM ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2025 at the Town Hall, 300 Main Street, Wellfleet, Massachusetts for the Herring River Restoration Project, Low-Lying Roadways and Associated Elements Construction, in the Town of Wellfleet. At that time, the bids will be opened and publicly read.
This IFB process shall be administered in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 / 39M, prevailing wages apply.
IFB documents are available by request, please send email request to Assistant Town Administrator John Bugbee at [email protected] and include in the email title, “IFB – Herring River Restoration Project – Low-Lying Roadways.”
A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Town of Wellfleet DPW Garage, 220 W. Main Street, Wellfleet, MA, followed by a site walk-through.

PLANNING BOARD
Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 40 §15C, the Wellfleet Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2025 AT 7:00 PM at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center 715 Old King’s Highway, Wellfleet MA 02667 to consider a request for written consent for tree clearing along portions of Bound Brook Island, Old County and High Toss Roads, in accordance with Scenic Roads, Chapter 200 of the Town of Wellfleet Bylaws.
The tree clearing is proposed to occur within a limit of disturbance for the elevation of roadways and replacement of culverts as part of the Herring River Restoration Project, Phase 1.
Materials submitted to the Planning Board associated with this request, including figures locating the areas of tree clearing, are available for public inspection at the Planning Department office, with the Planning Board Secretary, 1035 Cemetery Road, Wellfleet, MA.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Wellfleet Selectboard on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025, AT 6:00 P.M. both virtually and at the Wellfleet Community Center (715 Old King’s Highway) to consider the following:
Petition for Verizon New England, Inc and NSTAR Electric Company DBA Eversource Energy request permission for the following:
• HH3 to HH3A Hopkins Drive: place one (1) jointly owned two (2) inch conduit beginning at HH3 near 200 Hopkins Drive.
• HH5 Hopkins Drive to HH1X way 672: place one (1) four (4) inch conduit beginning at HH5, located between 240 Hopkins Drive and 260 Hopkins Drive.
• Fresh Brook Lane: install one (1) jointly owned forty (40) foot tall CL1 mid-span pole numbered 128/2-5 and attach facilities on the South side of Fresh Brook Lane.
• Cahoon Hollow Road P28 to Great Pond Parking Lot: install one (1) two (2) inch conduit beginning t the existing utility pole numbered 28, located at the intersection of Cahoon Hollow Road and Old Kings Highway.
• School House Hill Road to Black Pond Road: install one (1) two (2) inch conduit beginning at existing pole numbered 28 on the East side of School House Hill Road near the intersection of Black Pond Road, running nine hundred and eighty-four (984) feet.
• Beach Street – Old Wharf Road to Bayview Avenue: install (1) two (2) inch conduit beginning at existing utility pole numbered 29 at the Northwest corner of the intersection of Old Wharf and Beach Street.
• Proposed Pole Installation Near 1000 Old County Road: install one (1) jointly owned mid-span pole numbered 194/7-5 on the East side of Old County Road.
