PUBLIC NOTICE
All licenses and permits can now be purchased online.
All departments that issue licenses and permits, excluding shellfish and beaches, will be moving to Open Gov, which is an online permitting system used to apply for and pay for building permits, health permits, and business licenses. The town began using this system in March of 2024, and many users have commented on the much easier process and quicker response times in getting their permits and or licenses.
Availability
The town will offer both in person/paper applications and online applications until October 1, 2024, after which they will be available only online. For applicants who don’t have access to a computer, there will be spaces set up in the building/health department and the administration office with kiosks available for applying. Staff will be able to help with this process if needed.
