Notice is hereby given that the Wellfleet Selectboard will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 6:00p.m. virtually and in person via zoom and at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center (715 Old King’s Highway) to decide the following:
- To amend the Marina Regulation for the 2024 season closing date of October 15th and amend it to November 1st for the 2024 season Marina closing date.
- To approve a special event alcohol license for beer and wine, September 20, 2024, from 5:30pm – 9:00pm, at the First Congregational Church, Wellfleet.

The Wellfleet Planning Board will hold a public hearing on June 5, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center 716 Old Kings Hwy Wellfleet MA, 02667. This meeting will be held in person and via Zoom.
The Planning Board will vote on Kevin Sexton Trustee’s request to continue the public hearing on two definitive subdivision plans for 230/270 Old King’s Highway and 538/548 Old King’s Highway in Wellfleet, MA and will only be discussing the public hearing schedule, and the possibility of selecting a peer review engineer.

Town of Wellfleet Marina
Seasonal Assistant Harbormaster Position
The Town of Wellfleet Marina is recruiting a part-time, Seasonal Assistant Harbormaster to work for our Marina and Harbormaster Division this summer season, with a flexible schedule. Some weekend and holiday work required.
Qualifications:
Able to Professionally and Politely deal with the public.
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Duties:
- ENFORCEMENT OF FEDERAL, STATE, AND TOWN RULES, REGULATIONS, AND BYLAWS.
- COLLECT LAUNCH RAMP AND TRANSIENT DOCKAGE FEES.
- OPERATION OF FUEL DOCK SERVICES, PUMP OUT SERVICES
- PATROL TOWN WATERWAYS AS REQUIRED, CHECKING WATER SAFETY, POLLUTION, TRAFFIC CONDITIONS, AND OTHER MATTERS AS NECESSARY.
- ASSIST WITH THE AID OF PERSONS AND VESSELS IN DISTRESS.
- KEEPS HARBORMASTER ABREAST OF SITUATIONS RELATIVE TO THE MARINA.
- ASSISTS HARBORMASTER AS NECESSARY.
Other duties include but are not limited to… processing new mooring applications and payments, processing slip lease charges, making dockage reservations via the town system for visiting boaters, and assisting with other office clerical work.
IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE EMPLOYEE WILL PERFORM ANY REASONABLE TASK, IN ADDITION TO THOSE LISTED ABOVE, THAT IS RELATED TO HIS/HER JOB AND IS REQUESTED BY THE DEPARTMENT HEAD.
