In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 138, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. both virtually and at the Wellfleet Community Center (715 Old King’s Highway) to consider the following:
- Eversource to Install 40’ of 2-4” pipes in concrete under Lawrence Road from pole 4/19 to 2ft within the private property line as shown and 10’ of 2-4” pipes in concrete under Long Pond Road from pole 5/13 to 2ft within private property line as shown on sketch.
Sketches will be available in the Selectboard packet for the May 16th meeting.

In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 138, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. both virtually and at the Wellfleet Community Center (715 Old King’s Highway) to consider the following:
- To continue to make changes to Section 4. Location of Areas Licensed for Aquaculture (Grants) in the Town of Wellfleet Shellfishing Policy and Regulations to reference new grants and redefine the Egg Island area where grants may be located. Also, to add a map outlining the Egg Island area as Appendix E to the regulations. (Continued from April 5, 2023).
- Application received 1/3/2023 for a grant extension (to be numbered #2000-2 ext.) to shellfish grant license #2000-2 consisting of approximately 1.08 acres on Egg Island from Stephen Pickard (Wellfleet, MA), Iris Pickard (Wellfleet, MA) and Benjamin Pickard (Wellfleet, MA). (Continued from April 5, 2023).
