NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
LAND LEASE FOR SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS AT TOWN-OWNED LOCATIONS
JANUARY 24, 2025
The Town of Truro seeks proposals from qualified vendors to lease certain property from the Town and to install, own, operate and maintain solar photovoltaic energy systems on such property.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) has been issued pursuant to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B, Uniform Procurement Act, and all stages of the selection process will be governed by that Act. The RFP and related information may be obtained beginning Jan 24, 2025 by going to our bid and proposals website at https://www.truro-ma.gov/home/pages/bids-proposals or by contacting Darrin Tangeman, ICMA-CM, Town Manager, Town of Truro, at [email protected].
Responses to this RFP require separate Technical Proposals and Price Proposals, which shall be submitted in a single, sealed envelope, and opened publicly. Failure to comply with this and other submission requirements described herein may result in a Proposal being considered nonresponsive. A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on February 14, 2025, at 10:00am at 24 Town Hall Road Truro Ma 02666. failure to appear at the in-Person Pre-Proposal will result in disqualification.
Proposals as described within should be submitted to Darrin Tangeman, Town Manager, Town of Truro, 24 Town Hall Road, P.O. Box 2030, Truro, MA 02666, NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 24, 2025. with a hard copy of the Proposal to [email protected]. Late proposals will not be accepted.
The Town of Truro reserves the right to reject any or all proposals which are not responsible and/or responsive, in whole or in part, as deemed in the best interests of the Town, in accordance with G.L. c. 30B, Uniform Procurement Act.

For the Implementation of a Fiscal Year 2026 through Fiscal Year 2028 Revaluation Update Program
This Request for Proposals (RFP) invites written technical proposals and price proposals for consideration by the Town of Truro for the Implementation of a Fiscal Year 2026 through 2028 Revaluation Update Program. Sealed proposals must be prepared in strict accordance with the instructions and requirements contained in this RFP and must be submitted to the Office of the Town Manager, 24 Town Hall Road, PO BOX 2030, Truro, MA 02666 by 12:00PM ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2025.
If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who receive copies of this original request.

WARRANT OPENING
The Select Board voted to open the Warrant at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, for the Annual Town Meeting to be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The Warrant will remain open for submission of petitioned and committee articles until 4 P.M. MARCH 3, 2025.
