TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS: The Truro Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing Monday, January 6, 2025 at 5:00PM; THIS IS A HYBRID PARTICIPATION MEETING (in person and remote). Under the Executive Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, signed by Governor Baker on March 12, 2020, all members in any meeting of the public body may participate remotely. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public will be posted on the Truro website: www.truro-ma.gov, in accordance with Massachusetts General Law 131 section 40 (Wetlands Protection Act) and the Truro Conservation Bylaw, Chapter 8 to consider the following:

The Truro Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Truro Town Hall, 24 Town Hall Road, Truro, MA, or via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82700243175 or dial 1-646-931-3860 Meeting ID: 827 0024 3175(Snow Date: Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Truro Town Hall, Truro, MA) to determine the Truro Community Preservation Committee’s Fiscal Year 2026 grants that will be approved for inclusion in the April 2025 Annual Town Meeting Warrant for voter approval in accordance with the Community Preservation Act, M.G.L. c. 44B. The project proposals are as follows:
Pamet Harbor History Outdoor Display for $3,860, requested by Pamet Harbor Commission as an outdoor historical preservation project.
Corn Hill Beach Handicap Boardwalk & Expanded Accessible Recreation Improvements for $350,000, requested by the Beach Advisory Committee and the Commission on Disabilities as a recreation project.
Old County Natural Burial Cemetery for $171,520, requested by the Truro Cemetery Commission as a green burial project.
Affordable Housing Trust for 60% of annual CPA funds (estimated $468,519), requested by the Truro Housing Authority as a community housing project.
Media and Digitization Outreach for $20,000, requested by the Truro Historical Society as historical preservation project.
Truro Meeting House South Facade Restoration for $39,657, requested by the Friends of the Truro Meeting House as a historical preservation project.
FORWARD Orleans Phase II, regional housing for Cape Cod residents autism and related disabilities for $20,000, requested by Friends or Relatives with Autism & Related Disabilities (FORWARD) as a community housing project.
