DPW- ASSISTANT TRANSFER STATION ATTENDANT
The Town of Truro is seeking applicants for the position of DPW Transfer Station Attendant (year-round union position, 40 hours per week). Applications and job descriptions are available at the Truro Town Hall, 24 Town Hall Road, PO Box 2030, Truro, MA 02666 and on the website: Truro-ma.gov. Applications and copies of licenses must be submitted to the Town Hall by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024. Class A driver’s license is required, and Class B license holders will be considered. The current starting pay range is between $25.12 – $30.00 per hour based on experience and additional licenses, plus an excellent benefit package. Truro is an EOE.

BEACH FOOD VENDOR CONCESSIONS
HEAD OF THE MEADOW BEACH * CORN HILL BEACH
The Town of Truro is soliciting proposals from qualified mobile food vendors interested in securing the 2024 Beach Food Vendor Concession(s) for Head of the Meadow Beach and/or Corn Hill Beach in Truro.
- Vendors may submit proposals for either or both locations. The selection of a vendor for each location will be conducted separately.
- The dates for the use of both locations are June 8, 2024, through September 2, 2024, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- Use of the Truro Community Center kitchen is available upon written request with times limited per the Community Center schedule.
Single Use of the Community Center Kitchen: $250.00 (This fee provides kitchen access and Custodial services for up to 3 hours. Additional Custodial hours may be provided at $50.00/hour)
- Selected vendor(s) will be required to possess or obtain a Mobile Food Service Permit and a Hawker Peddler License before commencing services. These are obtained by filing a Mobile Food Service Food Application.
A contract for each of the two locations will be awarded to the Responsible Vendor offering the needed quality of services at the highest price.
