Notice is hereby given that the Truro Select Board will hold a remote public hearing on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. pursuant to MGL Ch. 40, Section 56, for the purpose of determining the percentages of the local tax levy to be borne in Fiscal Year 2024 by each class of property: residential, open space, commercial, industrial, and personal property. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, submit comments in writing to the Office of the Town Manager/Select Board, PO Box 2030, Truro, MA 02666, by emailing the Town Manager at [email protected] or by calling into the hearing. Truro School District Offers Meals at No Cost for Students
Truro School District will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision for school year 2023-2024. Students will be able to get breakfast and lunch at school without having to pay a fee or submit a household application.

PROGRAM SUPERVISOR AND PROGRAM LEADER FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL-TIME COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM
The Town of Truro is seeking a Program Supervisor and Program Leaders for Out-of-School-Time Community Sustainability Program with the Community Services Department. Full-time and part-time positions available, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for part-time and $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time employees. Positions provide direct care and administrative work for out-of-school-time programming for school-aged children in Truro. Hourly pay starts at $26.38 for Program Leaders and $27.70 for Program Supervisor.
