Invitation for Bids
The Town of Truro is seeking sealed bids to install and furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and to perform all operations required for the construction of two new foundations at 25 South Highland Rd. to be the recipient for the relocation to the 13 Walsh Way Cottage and the 2-bedroom residential structure located at 127 South Pamet Road in Truro, MA 02666. Foundations are to also accommodate the proposed additions to each structure.
Bid specifications may be obtained from the Town of Truro website at https://www.truro-ma.gov under Bids and Proposals.
Bids will be received at the Truro Town Hall first floor administration offices, 24 Town Hall Road, P.O. Box 2030, Truro, MA 02666 on or before August 18, 2023, at 2:00pm.
Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be clearly marked “25 South Highland Foundations:.
NOTE: One original and two (2) copies of each bid shall be submitted. NO faxed proposals will be accepted.
The Town of Truro reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as decided to be in the best interest of the Town.
All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, c.30, & 39M, and other applicable laws, prevailing wage rates apply. A site visit is scheduled for August 11, 2023, at 10:00AM. Failure to appear at the mandatory site visits will result in disqualification from the bid opportunity. A site visit will be held at 25 South Highland Rd. Bidders or their representatives must be present.
