The Truro Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Truro Public Library, 7 Standish Way, Truro, MA, (Snow Date: Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Truro Public Library, Truro, MA) to determine the Truro Community Preservation Committee’s Fiscal Year 2024 grants that will be approved for inclusion in the April 2023 Annual Town Meeting Warrant for voter approval in accordance with the Community Preservation Act, M.G.L. c. 44B. The project proposals are as follows:
Congregational Cemetery Restoration for $25,272.79, requested by Friends of the Truro Meeting House as an historic preservation project, open space & recreation.
Historic Truro Self-Guided Tour for $5,630, requested by the Truro Historical Commission as an outdoor recreation and historic preservation project.
3 Jerome Smith Way, Provincetown for $500,000, requested by Community Builders, Inc. as a community housing project.
Historic Cemetery Field Guide for $19,675, requested by the Truro Cemetery Commission as an outdoor recreations/open space/historic preservation project.
Cobb Archive Library Gutters for $11,023, requested by the Truro Historical Society in coordination with the Truro DPW as an historic preservation project.
Edgewood Farm Building Preservation for $61,000,* requested by Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill as an historic preservation project.
Bunker Cottage Historic Preservation for $20,000,* requested by the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill and the Truro Conservation Trust as an historic preservation project.
Housing Consultant/Technical Assistant for $25,000, requested by the Truro Housing Authority for an affordable housing project.
Affordable Housing Trust Contribution for $750,000, requested by the Truro Housing Authority on behalf of the Affordable Housing Trust, for affordable housing.
Display protective cases and 3-D modeling for the circa 1840’s Pamet Harbor model for the Highland House Museum for $20,000,* requested by the Truro Historical Society as an historic preservation project.

INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Town of Truro is seeding sealed bids to install and furnish all labor, materials and equipment, and to perform all operations required for raising, lifting, moving, and relocating onto new foundations one 2-bedroom house and one residential structure located in Truro, MA 02666
Bid specifications may be obtained from the Town of Truro website at https://www.truro-ma.gov under Bids and Proposals.
Bids will be received at the Truro Town Hall first floor administration offices, 24 Town Hall Road, P.O. Box 2030 Truro, MA 02666 on or before February 17, 2023, at 2:30pm.

February 8, 2023
On Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 5:00 pm the Truro Planning Board will hold a remote public hearing on the matters below. Citizens can view the hearing on Channel 18 in Truro and on the web on the “Truro TV Channel 18” button under “Helpful Links” on the homepage of the Town of Truro website (www.truro-ma.gov). Click on the green “Watch” button in the upper right corner of the page.

2023-001/SPR – Ebb Tide on the Bay Condominiums, for property located at 538 Shore Road (Atlas Map 7, Parcel 7, Registry of Deeds Book 5671 and Page 232). Applicants seek Commercial Site Plan approval for project involving move of three buildings shoreward; relocation of septic system; and related modifications to site; on property located in the Beach Point Limited Business District.
