On Monday, December 19, 2022 at 5:30 pm the Truro Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a remote public hearing on the matters below. Citizens can view the hearing on Channel 18 in Truro and on the web on the “Truro TV Channel 18” button under “Helpful Links” on the homepage of the Town of Truro website (www.truro-ma.gov). Click on the green “Watch” button in the upper right corner of the page.
Citizens can join the meeting to listen and provide public comment via the following link: https://meet.goto.com/243339893 or by calling in toll free at 1-877-309-2073 and entering the following access code when prompted: 243-339-893#. Citizens will be muted upon entering the meeting until the public comment portion of the hearing. Citizens may also provide written comment via postal mail or by emailing the Planning Department Administrator [email protected].
2022-019/ZBA – Katherine S. Cook and Christine Van Genderen, for property located at 38 Cliff Road (Atlas Map 32, Parcel 19, Registry of Deeds Book 33307 and Page 344). Applicants seek a special permit under G.L. c. 40A, s. 6 and s. 30.7 of the Zoning Bylaw for alterations to a nonconforming structure (frontage; setback) to reflect construction not authorized by special permit granted in Case 2020-007/ZBA, including enclosure of screened porch to create living room and addition of second floor living space in place of deck, located in Seashore District.

Human Services Grant Program
Proposals Invited
The Town of Truro is soliciting funding requests from human services agencies serving the residents of Truro for FY24. Qualifying agencies are invited to submit funding proposals, in response to needs identified on or before Friday, December 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Proposals selected for funding will be included in an omnibus appropriation article submitted by the Town of Truro to its 2023 Annual Town Meeting.
Proposals will be considered that address one or more of the following needs:
- Children/Teens/Elders/Families-at-Risk
- Domestic Violence
- HIV/Chronic Care Services
- Housing/Hunger Needs
- Legal Services
- Mental Health Services
- Physical Disabilities
- Substance Abuse
Proposal packets may be obtained from Truro Town Hall, 24 Town Hall Road, Truro or from the Human Services Committee page on the website www.truro-ma.gov. Completed, sealed proposals are due no later than Friday, December 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered-NO EXCEPTIONS.

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS: The Truro Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing Monday, December 5, 2022 at 5:00PM; THIS IS A REMOTE PARTICIPATION MEETING. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IS VIA PHONE OR E-MAIL. Under the Executive Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, signed by Governor Baker on March 12, 2020, all members in any meeting of the public body may participate remotely.
