In accordance with §2-3-g.4 of the Provincetown Charter, the Provincetown Charter Compliance Commission will hold a Public Hearing on WEDNESDAY APRIL 2, 2025 AT 1:00 PM in the Judge Welsh Room in Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA to determine the number of Board members in favor or opposed to the petitioned articles concerning the Provincetown Charter for the April 7, 2025, Annual and Special Town Meeting.
The meeting will be in person. Comments may also be submitted in writing in advance by Monday, March 31, 2025, 1:00 p.m., to the Town Clerk, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 or [email protected].

The Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 2025, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 25-45
Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of John S. Cunningham et al., requesting to construct a new porch on the east elevation of structure, renovate facades on the north and west elevations, and to construct a 10’ by 13’ addition on the west elevation with a roof deck above on the property located at 6 Center Street.
HDC 25-47
Application by Trevor Pontbriand, on behalf of 398 Commercial Street, LLC, requesting to convert an existing garage/studio into an ADU, and to add a window and door for a required means of egress on the structure located at 398 Commercial Street.
HDC 25-52
Application by Christine Bezio for Cape Associates, on behalf of Eleanor V. Pannesi, requesting to replace non-structural railing/pilings with new 8-10” pilings and to install a gazebo/awning on an existing dec at the property located at 71 Commercial Street.
HDC 25-54
Application by Ginny Binder, on behalf of the West End Racing Club, requesting to meet FEMA compliance standards under the 9th edition of the Building Code on the property located at 83 Commercial Street.

DPW – CUSTODIAN
The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Department of Public Works/Buildings & Grounds Division for Public Restroom Custodian. This is a 40 hour a week position with periodic overtime. This position will be responsible for cleaning the building assigned as well as the scheduling of seasonal employees. Some duties are: vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors; painting, simple repairs, minor plumbing leaks, and any other related duties as may be required or assigned.
