The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 24-283
Application by Peter Okun requesting to add an 8’ by 1.5’ fence with a gate on the property located at 334 Commercial Street, U3.
HDC 24-294
Application by Greg Mazares, on behalf of Charles E. Collins et al., requesting to replace 6 windows and a patio door on the structure located at 345A Commercial Street, UD.
HDC 24-324
Application by Jonah Swain, on behalf of 6 Carver St. Nominee Trust, requesting to remove exterior rails on a front deck and replace them with new captured mahogany balusters with molded handrails on the structure located at 6 Carver Street.
HDC 24-339
Application by Gary Reinhardt requesting to re-shingle a structure and replace a slider in kind, to repair an existing rear deck, a roof deck, a staircase from the ground to the rear deck, and a stair/ladder from the rear deck to the roof deck on the property located at 107 Commercial Street.

Application by Holly Tarleton, on behalf of David Barry Brenner et ux., requesting to remove, replace, and reconfigure windows on the structure located at 34 Standish Street, U3.

Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of Meadows Realty Trust, requesting to add new dormers on the south elevation of a structure and add a new second story above the north elevation of the structure located at 42 Bradford Street.

Application by Joe McCarty, on behalf of John Babchak III Revocable Trust, requesting to add a window and replace a window with a smaller one to accommodate a new kitchen layout on the structure located at 8B Commercial Street, U1.

Human Services Grant Program Funding Strategy
The Provincetown Human Services Committee will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the VMCC, 2 Mayflower Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 to hear public comment on the FY2026 Human Services Grant Program funding strategy.

The Provincetown Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 6:00 P.M. in the Judge Welsh Hearing Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
The Planning Board will consider the following requests:
PLN 24-12
Application by Steven Azar seeking a Site Plan Review pursuant to Article 2, Section 2320 (A), High Elevation Protection District (A), of the Zoning By-Laws, to make landscape improvements in a side yard accessible from Carver Street to reinforce failed retaining walls, to apply Azek boards between two 4’ walls, creating a sundeck, and to plant vegetation in front of each wall on the property located at 9 Carver Street.

Application by Braden Witt, on behalf of the Town of Provincetown, seeking a Site Plan Review by Special Permit pursuant to Article 4, Section 4015 a. (5), Site Plan Review by Special Permit, of the Zoning By-Laws, to redevelop Motta Field, including installing subsurface disposal beds and constructing a service and bathroom pavilion, involving excavation and earth-moving of more than 750 cu. yds. that will alter the topography from natural grade on the property located at 25 Winslow Street.

Application by Ryan Campbell, on behalf of Treved Holdings, LLC, seeking Site Plan Review pursuant to Article 2, Section 2320 (A), High Elevation Protection District (A), of the Zoning By-Laws, to demolish a utility shed and construct a new free-standing ADA-compliant restroom/utility shed on the property located at 22 Commercial Street.
