The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 24-199
Application by Brad Walker, on behalf of 21 Commercial Street, LLC, requesting to make minor changes to a previously-approved Certificate of Appropriateness, HDC 23-171, including adjustments to windows, a shed dormer, an elevated wood deck, and a privacy fence and equipment enclosure on the property located at 21 Commercial Street.

Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of Gary A. Godin et. vir., requesting to lift a structure 46” per FEMA regulations on the property located at 606 Commercial Street, U1.
HDC 24-203
Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of Clipper Ventures Realty Trust, requesting to add dormers on the east and west elevations of the structure located at 335 Commercial Street.
HDC 24-204
Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of Latasa-Nicks Properties, LLC, requesting to renovate an existing structure for two residential units, including replacing windows, siding, and wood trim, adding a second floor porch behind an existing covered porch on the northeast elevation, and to demolish a one-story addition on the northwest corner on the property located at 404 Commercial Street, U2.

Application by Robin B. Reid, Esq., on behalf of Ben Meents and Phillip Ritchie, requesting to renovate and restore a single family structure and cottage on the property located at 4 Baker Avenue.

Application by Scott Doughman, on behalf of James Flynn, requesting to add a window on the structure located at 4 Mozart Avenue, U2.
HDC 24-210
Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of the Richard R. Bankhead 2012 Revocable Trust, requesting to lift a structure per FEMA guidelines, replace and relocate windows, and add dormers, stepped stairs, and planters on the north elevation on the property located at 605 Commercial Street.

Position Opening
Airport Service Specialist
The Town of Provincetown is now accepting applications for the part-time seasonal position as an Airport Service Specialist. This Part-time position is typically 20-25 hours per week. This position provides aviation ground support services to customers in a positive and professional manner. This includes all aspects of ground handling operations such as aircraft fueling/defueling, baggage/cargo handling, aircraft towing, marshalling signals for aircraft parking, and operating various ground support equipment to meet customer and aircraft needs. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled. Amend Alcohol License – Change of Manager
Petition from Joseph Devlin representing Linchris Hotel Corp, d.b.a. Harbor Hotel Provincetown for a Change of Manager on their Seasonal All Alcohol Liquor License at 698 Commercial St, Provincetown, MA 02657.
