The Town of Provincetown is seeking proposals for the renovation of Fire House 2 upper floors
Bid documents can be found on the town’s web site.
Bids will be opened in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 on Thursday, May 2th, 2024, at 3 p.m.
All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to, G.L. c.149.

The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 24-108
Application by David High requesting to install a new 38” high linear fence on the west side of the property with a 1”x 4” spaced-board style with a cap strip, a 44” wide x 38” high gate, and scalloped to 34”, and to replace a rear gate to a patio area in kind on the property located at 36 Commercial Street.

Application by Kyle Charbonneau requesting to replace and improve an existing roof deck structure, including installing new railings, balusters, and composite material decking on the property located at 208 Bradford Street, UB4.

Application by Tim Ernst, on behalf of Norman T. Ernst et vir., requesting to demolish and rebuild a cottage structure, install all new windows, with rear and right-side elevation windows to be replaced in kind and some windows to be relocated or removed on left side and front elevations to accommodate new interior layout, add a new shed dormer to the left side elevation and bay to accommodate head height, replace all cedar siding on all elevations, replace the asphalt shingle roof, add a new cantilevered bay window to the existing rear addition with a standing seam metal roof, and add historic light fixtures adjacent to each of the exterior doors on the property located at 60 Commercial Street.
