The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 24-40
Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of Mark C. Adams et vir., requesting to add a free-standing artist’s studio and a new 4’ high wood picket fence along a portion of the east and west perimeters of the property located at 6 Bangs Street.
HDC 24-93
Application by Jason Muto, on behalf of 265 Commercial, LLC, requesting to remove and replace existing clapboard siding on third floor with new Hardie Plank clapboard on the structure located at 265-267 Commercial Street.
HDC 24-105
Application by Braden Witt, on behalf of the Town of Provincetown, requesting to add a second floor to a structure and to slightly enlarge a fenced area to accommodate construction activities on the property located at 9 Ryder Street Extension.
HDC 24-107
Application by Ginny Binder, on behalf of 7 Standish, LLC, requesting to change the pitch of a rear cottage roof to match the main structure and to create a loft in the cottage on the property located at 7 Standish Avenue.

The Town of Provincetown is seeking proposals for the renovation of Fire House 2 upper floors
Bid documents can be found on the town’s web site.
Bids will be opened in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 on Thursday, May 2th, 2024, at 3 p.m.
All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to, G.L. c.149.

The Provincetown Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room in Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA on the following cases:
ZBA 24-1
Application by Attorney Robin B. Reid, on behalf of the Stephane L. Guinez Revocable Living Trust, seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 2, Section 2450, Permitted Accessory Uses, G12, Swimming pool, and Article 3, Section 3110, Change, Extensions or Alterations, of the Zoning By-Laws to add a swimming pool on a property that is pre-existing, non-conforming as to lot coverage and green space and located at 8 Montello Street (Residential 3 Zone).
ZBA 24-17
Application by Eric Larsen, on behalf of Paolo Martini et al., seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 3 Sections 3110, Change, Extensions or Alterations, and 3115, Demolition and Reconstruction, of the Zoning By-Laws to demolish and reconstruct a deck on a property that is pre-existing, non-conforming as to its front and side yard setbacks and to elevate the deck approximately 4″ to accommodate adequate framing components at 635 Commercial Street (Residential 2 Zone).

Application by Lisa Pacheco Robb, on behalf of Sharon Callahan et al., seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 3, Section 3110, Change, Extensions or Alterations, of the Zoning By-Laws to build a sunporch up and along a pre-existing, non-conforming rear yard setback on the property located at 1 Creek Round Hill Road (Residential 1 Zone).
