The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 24-74
Application by Robin B. Reid, Esq., on behalf of Two Kelmar, LLC, requesting to add two decks and to replace the existing windows with two sliders on the first and second floors of the south elevation of the structure located at 361B Commercial Street, U3.
HDC 24-76
Application by Jonah Swain, on behalf of Jonathan A. Connor et al., requesting to replace siding, roofing shingles, porch trim and a front door on the structure located at 224 Bradford Street.
HDC 24-81
Application by Don DiRocco, on behalf of Patrick Wilson, requesting to create two small additions to the east elevation, one with a shed roof to provide a new side entry, and the other added above an existing three-season porch, and to extend an existing second floor south-facing deck on the structure located at 79 Commercial Street, U1.
HDC 24-82
Application by Scott Liddell, on behalf of the William T. Vukowich Revocable Trust, requesting to replace existing windows and doors, install skylights, reconstruct a chimney, and to repair or install new clapboards on the structure located at 4 Whorf’s Court.

Application by Susannah Fulcher, on behalf of Karilon, LLC, requesting to install a new bay window and remove and replace a rail system on a deck on the property located at 447 Commercial Street.

Position Opening
Transfer Station/Sanitation Hybrid Skilled Staff
The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Department of Public Works for Transfer Station/Sanitation Hybrid Skilled Staff. This is a hybrid position working part time at the Transfer Station and part time in the Sanitation Department. It is a 40 hour a week position that is responsible for skilled manual work in the operation of the transfer station/recycling center and all related equipment, vehicles and enforcement of all board rules and regulations as well as responsible for picking up curbside trash and recycling. The position is available June 4th, 2024. ZBA 24-8
Application by Robin B. Reid, Esq. seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 2, Section 2640, Building Scale, of the Zoning By-Laws to construct a single-family structure that will exceed the average allowable neighborhood building scale on the property located at 8A Willow Drive (Residential 3 Zone).
ZBA 24-15
Application by Robin B. Reid, Esq., on behalf of the Dundee Trust, seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 2, Section 2450, Permitted Accessory Uses, G12, Swimming pool, and Article 3 Sections 3110, Change, Extensions or Alterations, and 3115, Demolition and Reconstruction, of the Zoning By-Laws for the partial demolition of an existing structure’s west elevation wall, which is located on and along a pre-existing, non-conforming west lot line, and to reconstruct and move it 3’ away from that line, and to install a jacuzzi on the property located at 52 Franklin Street (Residential 3 Zone).

Application by Chip Gill seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 3 Section 3110, Change, Extensions or Alterations, of the Zoning By-Laws to increase the elevation of a pre-existing, non-conforming, free-standing deck located on the rear façade of a building by 14” and to add a 6.5′ tall x 10′ x 16′ aluminum pergola on top of the elevated deck on the property located at 21 Dewey Avenue, U4 (Residential1 Zone).
