The Provincetown Select Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Judge Welsh Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 to receive comments from the public on the following Economic Development Permit request:
EDP-23-6, 198 Commercial Street, by Robin Reid, on behalf of 198 Commercial Propco, LLC, d/b/a Crew’s Quarters, to increase the assigned Title 5 flow to the existing property by 220 gallons per day to add 2 guest rooms.

Application by Ocazo Construction, on behalf of Kathleen Barrett et ux., seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 2, Section 2640, Building Scale, of the Zoning By-Laws to extend a top deck 7’ 5” by 5’ 3”, thereby increasing a building scale that already exceeds the allowable neighborhood scale volume of the structure located at 51 Harry Kemp Way, U1 (Residential B Zone).

In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. c. 131, s. 40) and/or Provincetown General Bylaws Chapter 12, Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Provincetown Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA, to consider the following:
CON-23-148 505 Commercial Street Notice of Intent filed by Alex Pysarets to extend existing bulkhead and reconstruct deck. Work to take place within Coastal Beach, Coastal Dune, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage. Continued from January 2, 2024.
CON-24-1 429 Commercial Street Request for Determination of Applicability filed by New Hop Holdings LLC to construct an addition, dormer, and deck within existing footprint. Work to take place within Buffer to Coastal Beach, Buffer to Coastal Dune, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage.
CON-24-2 303A Bradford Street Request for Determination of Applicability filed by Eric Larsen to remove and replace existing second flood deck and egress stair. Work to take place within Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage.

AFSCME – DPW Transfer Station Skilled Staff
The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Department of Public Works for Transfer Station Skilled Staff. This is a 40 hour a week position that is responsible for skilled manual work in the operation of the transfer station/recycling center and all related equipment, vehicles and enforcement of all board rules and regulations.
