The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 23-319
Application by Alicia Anderson, on behalf of The Village at the Red Inn Condominium Trust, requesting to replace first and second floor decks, egress stairs, ground-level walkways, and siding as needed on the structure located at 12 Commercial Street.
HDC 23-330
Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of New Hop Holdings, LLC, requesting to construct a previously approved addition and renovation that will trigger compliance with FEMA regulations to lift a structure on the property located at 429 Commercial Street.

Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of the Church of St. Mary’s of the Harbor, requesting to replace all windows and associated trim on the structure located at 519 Commercial Street.

INVITATION FOR BIDS
MACMILLAN PIER REPAIRS
The Town of Provincetown is soliciting Bids for the MacMillan Pier Repairs project.
Sealed Bids will be received at the Office of the Town Manager, Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 until JANUARY 31, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. (local time), at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read.
Invitation for Bid documents are available electronically by contacting Beth Schuh (Foth) at: [email protected] with the subject: “Provincetown MacMillan Pier Repairs: IFB Request” on or after JANUARY 3, 2024.
A non-mandatory Pre-bid Conference will occur on site at the Harbormaster’s Office located on MacMillan Pier on JANUARY 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
Questions relating to the Bid documents must be submitted via email to Beth Schuh, at [email protected], by JANUARY 15, 2024.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the Bid price.
A Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of MA will be required for the faithful performance of the contract, as well as a labor and materials Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract price.
All Bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of MA, including, but not limited to G.L. c.30, §39M. It is anticipated that the procurement period will begin on or after MARCH 15, 2024,and the work will begin on or after MARCH 20, 2024. The project is anticipated to be substantially completed prior to MAY 31, 2024, as set forth in the Contract Documents.
Minimum wage rates to be paid are determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of MA General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26-27D inclusive.
Selection of the Contractor will be based upon Bidder qualifications, including evidence of past performance in similar projects and Bid price. The contract will be awarded to the Bidder deemed by the awarding authority to be the responsible and eligible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive Bid.
The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all Bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.

EDP-23-6, 198 Commercial Street, by Robin Reid, on behalf of 198 Commercial Propco, LLC, d/b/a Crew’s Quarters, to increase the assigned Title 5 flow to the existing property by 220 gallons per day to add 2 guest rooms.
