Cultural District grant applications and Public Forum
The Provincetown Cultural Council will accept applications from individuals and organizations for activities that enhance the cultural opportunities in Provincetown. Provincetown Cultural District grants are intended to encourage new cultural activity as well as outreach to both visitors and residents in Provincetown.
Cultural District grant applications are available on the Cultural Council page on the Provincetown website and must be submitted by Monday November 6, 2023, using one of the below methods:
- Hand deliver to the Town Clerk office in Town Hall no later than 5pm
- Email to: [email protected] no later than 5pm
- Mail to: Provincetown Cultural Council, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 postmarked no later than November 6, 2023.
Provincetown Cultural Council will hold a public forum to provide information on the Cultural District Grant application on October 25, 2023 at 5:30 PM in Caucus Hall in Provincetown Town Hall. This forum is to help prospective grant applicants better understand the expectations in completing the grant application.

The Provincetown Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 12 2023, at 6 P.M. in the Judge Welsh Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 to hear comments from the public and vote on proposed amendments to the Provincetown Zoning Bylaws for the October 23, 2023 Special Town Meeting Warrant, as well as any other land use bylaw articles or proposed petitioned articles concerning zoning, land use, or development. This may include, but is not limited to, Articles 4, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14. A copy of the Special Town Meeting Warrant is available for public inspection at the Office of the Town Clerk, Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657.

Appointment to Charter Review Ad Hoc Committee
The Town of Provincetown is seeking applications to establish a five to seven member Charter Review Ad Hoc Committee for a term of five months commencing November 2023 and ending March 31, 2024. Applications can be obtained in the Offices of the Town Clerk or Select Board at the Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657. Completed applications must be returned to the Town Clerk’s/Select Board’s office no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. All applicants will be interviewed by the Select Board at their regular scheduled meeting on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 6 pm in the Town Hall Judge Welsh Room.

Visitor Services Board
VSB Announces Tourism Marketing Grant Opportunities for FY 2025
The Visitor Services Board is seeking grant proposals for events and marketing funding under the Tourism Fund for Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).
Proposals will be accepted from non-profit organizations, individuals, or businesses conducting an event, activity, or project located in the Town of Provincetown. Matching Marketing Grants are also available for projects and programs which promote year-round tourism in Provincetown. Events promoting and enhancing the shoulder/winter seasons will be given priority consideration for funding.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) will be a part of the application and a consideration in the evaluation process.
Applications will be available beginning October 23, 2023, and must be submitted by Monday, December 4, 2023. All applications must be submitted using the online program. Grant Application information can be found at http://www.provincetown-ma.gov/591/Tourism
