In accordance with §2-3-g.6 of the Provincetown Charter, the Provincetown Board of Health will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the Judge Welsh Hearing Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA to hear comments from the public and to determine the number of Board members in favor or opposed to the articles on the warrant of the October 23, 2023 Special Town Meeting.
This meeting will be conducted as a hybrid in-person meeting in accordance with Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023 permitting remote meetings; however, members of the public may participate remotely. Comments may be submitted in writing by Friday, September 29, 2023 by 12:00 p.m., to the Health Director, Department of Community Development, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 or [email protected], or by remote participation during the hearing by dialing (833) 579-7589; when prompted, enter the following conference number: 237 627 156#. Instructions for participating via the Microsoft Teams app can be found on the meeting agenda, which will be posted on the Town’s website at least 48 hours before the time of the meeting. The Provincetown Human Services Committee will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the COA Multi-Purpose Room at the VMCC, 2 Mayflower St, Provincetown, MA 02657 to hear public comment on the needs assessment for the FY 2025 Human Services Grant Program and for the John A. Henry Trust Fund for underprivileged children in Provincetown.
The mission of Provincetown’s Human Services Grant Program is to assist non-profit agencies and organizations in maximizing available resources, through local grants, to meet needs identified by the community.

The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Department of Public Works/Buildings & Grounds Division for Veterans Memorial Community Center Custodian. This is a 40 hour a week position with periodic overtime. This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building assigned. Some duties are vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors; painting, simple repairs, minor plumbing leaks, and any other related duties as may be required or assigned.
