The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 23-146
Application by Patrick Archibald, on behalf of Jay Anderson, requesting to replace an 8’ high fence in kind and to install a 3’ high cedar picket/spindle fence to match and continue a line of fencing in front of 51 Commercial Street on the property located at 53 Commercial Street.
HDC 23-167
Application by Leif Hamnquist, on behalf of Hudson Harbor R.E. Properties, requesting to install picket fencing in various locations on the property located at 26 Bradford Street.
HDC 23-169
Application by James Vesper requesting to extend a fence on the front of the property located at 510 Commercial Street.

Harbor Hill Re-Roofing
Invitation for Bids
The Town of Provincetown is requesting sealed bids for the Harbor Hill Re-Roofing project. Work will include selective demolition of existing roofing, new skylights, and the installation of new asphalt roof shingles and accessories. Sub-bids will be received until July 27, 2023 at 2pm and general bids will be received until August 3, 2023 at 2pm via projectdog, an online bidding service. The full bid package can be found on the Town’s web site, www.provincetown-ma.gov. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town of Provincetown.

DPW Water Department for Administrative Assistant
The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the DPW Water Department for Administrative Assistant. This is a 40 hour a week positions that is responsible for the managing all financial aspects of the Water Department including bill pay, recordkeeping and scheduling as well as any and all other tasks as required or assigned The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled. Application by Sheila Kaiser, on behalf of Andrew W.
