Application by John Goff, on behalf of Steve Netemeyer, requesting to replace chain-linked fencing with cable railing on first- and second-floor decks on the property located at 421 Commercial Street.

Application by Ruben Valenzuela, on behalf of Foxy Real Estate Trust, requesting to add a second-floor balcony to a structure on the property located at 599 Commercial Street.

Application by Leif Hamnquist, on behalf of WLJ Trust, requesting to raise a structure above the required FEMA base flood elevation, install a new foundation, a water table, decks, egress stairs, and railings, and to reconfigure the fenestration on the front of the structure located at 536 Commercial Street, U2.
HDC 23-116
Application by Don DiRocco, on behalf of Brennan R. Bilberry et al., requesting to demolish and rebuild a structure on wood pilings pursuant to FEMA regulations, including constructing a new addition on the east elevation, adding dormers on the east and west elevations, and a break-away skirt along the base of the structure, rebuilding or omitting, if possible, a chimney, and adding solar panels on the property located at 61A Commercial Street.

The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for an opening in the Department of Public Works/Buildings & Grounds Division for Veterans Memorial Community Center Custodian. This is a 40 hour a week position with periodic overtime. This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building assigned. Some duties are vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors; painting, simple repairs, minor plumbing leaks, and any other related duties as may be required or assigned.

Request for Proposals
Provincetown Municipal Parking and Multi-Use Path Feasibility Study
The Town of Provincetown invites proposals from qualified multi-disciplinary teams to perform a feasibility study to provide municipal parking and a multi-use path in the Town-owned Route 6 roadway layout. Proposals shall be submitted no later than 4pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Proposals shall be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “Consulting Services – Route 6 Feasibility Study” with the name and address of the submitting consultant clearly identified and mailed to the Town Manager’s Office, Town of Provincetown, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657. Please see the Bid Opportunities page on the Town website (www.provincetown-ma.gov) for full specifications. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to cancel this Request for Proposals if it is in the Town’s best interest to do so.

Provincetown International Baccalaureate Schools
Kindergarten Screening
May 25, 2023
Provincetown International Baccalaureate Schools will hold Kindergarten Screening on May 25, 2023 for families interested in Kindergarten enrollment at Provincetown IB Schools.
Screening will take place 8:30am – 3:30pm at Provincetown IB Schools, located at 12 Winslow Street, Provincetown, MA 02657. Appointments are required and families are encouraged to bring required documents for enrollment, including a photo identification of parent/guardian, proof of child’s age, proof of residency, and health records (immunization records and physical exam documentation within one year). Specific requirements for registration documents can be found at provincetownschools.com. As per Massachusetts law, a student must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2023 to attend Kindergarten in Fall 2023.
Please note, current Provincetown IB School students who are age eligible for Kindergarten for the 23-24 school year do not need to make an appointment; screening will take place during the school day on May 25.
