January 9, 2023
The Provincetown Select Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Judge Welsh Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 to receive comments from the public on the following Traffic Proposal and regulation changes requests:
Citizen Proposals
Proposal 1: By Martin Bobenski, to request the placement of “one way” signs along Winthrop Street.
Proposal 2: By Nancy Lockwood, to request the placement of signs deterring Tour buses from going down Prince Street.
Proposal 3: By Theodore Jones, to request either the placement of convex mirrors on the southwest corner of Bradford and Bangs Street or to remove the five-year-old parking space.
Proposal 4: By Marian Roth, to request the limitation of public parking on Allerton to one week and a Banning of oversized vehicles such as campers on Allerton Street.
Proposal 5: By Allan Eyden, to request the placement of signs to indicate the difference between Bradford Street and Bradford Street Extension.
Staff Proposals
Proposal 6: By Parking Administrator David Anderson, to request the increase of the hourly fee structure of the Macmillan pier lot and Grace Hall lot by $.50.
Parking and Traffic Regulations Chapter 7 Municipal Parking Lots
7-1-1 Fee Structure
The fee structure for the MacMillan Pier Lot and Grace Hall Lot shall be as follows:
MacMillan Pier Parking Lot: 0 to 10 hours @ $3.50 $4.00 an hour, Maximum of $35 $40 for 24 hours
Grace Hall Parking Lot: 0 to 10 hours @ $2.50 $3.00 an hour, Maximum of $25 $30 for 24 hours
Proposal 7: By Parking Administrator David Anderson, to request the removal of the kiosks around town to be replaced by our online app service.

To all persons subject to taxation in the Town of Provincetown: Fiscal Year 2024
In accordance with the provisions of General Laws, Ch. 59, § 29, all individuals, partnerships, associations or trusts, and corporations, residents of or owning property located in Provincetown are hereby notified that they are required, on or before March 1, 2023, to bring in to the Board of Assessors in the form prescribed by the Commissioner of Revenue, true lists of property. All taxable tangible personal property shall be listed on the following forms:
Form 2– For all personal property of individuals, partnerships, associations, trusts and corporations doing business in the above municipality.
Form 2HF– For all household furnishings and effects of individuals if kept at a place other than their domicile.
Form 3(ABC) – For all real and personal property held for literary temperance benevolent charitable or scientific purposes on January 1, 2023, or, at the election of the corporation, on the last day of its fiscal year last preceding January 1, 2023, such lists to include the amount of receipts and expenditures for said purposes during the year of the return. Fraternal Benefit Corporations, which make returns to the Commissioner of Insurance under General Laws, Chapter 176, § 38, are not required to file this list.
