GENERAL BYLAW CHAPTER 11-6-6: TREES AND SHRUBS: OBSTRUCTIONS IN THE PUBLIC WAYS
Chapter 11-6-6 Trees & Shrubs: Obstructions in the Public Ways. In order to preserve and promote the safety of the public, no property owner shall permit any hedge, tree, brush or natural growth to encroach within the public way in a manner that becomes a physical or visual obstruction to any vehicle or pedestrian.
Each year by April 1st and November 1st, the Department of Public Works will issue a public notice requiring all property owners to trim or remove such obstructions within two weeks or the Department will remove all obstructions without further notice.

For Refurbishment of Auditorium Seating
The Town of Provincetown, MA is soliciting bids for the refurbishment of Town Hall auditorium seating. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the Office of the Town Manager, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 on or before 3 PM on Monday, November 28, 2022, at which time all bids shall be opened publicly. The Town reserves the right to cancel this IFB, or to reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if it is determined to be in the best interests of the Town to do so. Position Opening
Secretary to the Select Board
The Town of Provincetown is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Secretary to the Select Board. This full-time position is typically 40 hours per week, occasional evening work is required. This position provides direct support to the in assisting the Select Board and the Town Manager to prepare the materials and documents required for Select Board Meetings and acts as liaison between the Select Board and Town Manager/Staff. This is a Grade 8, non-union position with a scale of $63,394 to $82,412. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
