Special Entertainment License
Petition from Sarah Nitsch and Anne Hubbell, representing the Provincetown Film Society for a Special Entertainment License for events to be held on July 24 between 9am and 10:30pm and July 27, 2022 between 4:30pm and 10:30pm at Motta Field, 25 Winslow Street with rain dates of July 25 and 28 between 4:30pm and 10:30pm.

Application by Ted Smith, on behalf of Trevor’s Trails II, LLC, seeking a Special Permit pursuant to Article 2, Section 2640, Building Scale, and Article 3, Sections 3110, Change, Extensions or Alterations, and 3115, Demolition and Reconstruction, of the Zoning By-Laws to demolish and rebuild a pre-existing, non-conforming structure in a slightly smaller footprint, but with an increase in its building scale, on an under-sized lot with less than 50’ of frontage at 7 Snow Street (Residential 2 Zone).

Attention Private School and Homeschooling Parents
Child Find
It is the responsibility of the Provincetown Public Schools to identify any child who may have a disability who is either a resident of Provincetown or who attends a private school within the geographic boundaries of Provincetown even if the student is not a resident of Provincetown. This also includes students who are homeschooled.
Provincetown Public Schools is also responsible for the evaluation of those students to determine if they are eligible for special education or related services under Federal law, IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) or, Massachusetts State Law, 603 CMR 28 (Massachusetts Special Education Regulations).
Provincetown Public Schools is also committed to identifying children before their third birthday in order to provide early intervention services for three and four year-olds with disabilities. If you have questions or concerns regarding your child’s development and would like to have him/her screened, please call Jeffrey Slater-Cote at 508487-5217 to set up an appointment.

May 17, 2022
The Provincetown Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the Judge Welsh Room, Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA, to consider the following requests:
CON-22-12 781 Commercial Street
Notice of Intent filed by Benjamin Andrew Zelermyer, Trustee of the 781 Commercial Street Nominee Trust, pursuant to the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. c. 131, s. 40) and the Provincetown General Bylaws Chapter 12, Wetlands Protection Bylaw, for a building and deck addition, mitigation planting of native vegetation, and replacement of split rail fence. Work to take place within Coastal Dune, NHESP Priority and Estimated Habitat, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage.
This meeting will be conducted in person; however, members of the public may participate remotely. Instructions for viewing and participating via the Microsoft Teams app or by phone can be found on the meeting agenda, which will be posted on the Town’s website at least 48 hours before the time of the meeting. The Provincetown Historic District Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in the Judge Welsh Room at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA.
Public Hearings will be held for the following applications requesting a Certificate to be issued in accordance with the Provincetown Historic District Commission established under the General By-Laws, Chapter 15 of the Town of Provincetown.
HDC 22-74
Application by Robin Callaghan, on behalf of Jeffrey R. Lick et vir., requesting to build an enclosure over an elevator door and replace the trim around it, to remove shingles around the mechanical doors and replace them with trim board, to replace existing mechanical doors in kind, and to enclose a propane tank and electrical and garbage receptacles on the property located at 607 Commercial Street, U3.
