To either of the Constables of the Town of Provincetown, Greetings:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in the manner prescribed in the Charter and By-laws of said Town, you are hereby directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town qualified by law to vote in Town affairs to meet and assemble on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in the Auditorium of Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts 02657 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to vote to elect the following officers on the Annual Town Election ballot:
Two Select Board members for terms of three years;
One Charter Compliance Commission member for a term of three years;
One Charter Compliance Commission member for one year to fill the unexpired term;
One Library Trustee members for a term of three years;
Two School Committee members for terms of three years
Ballot Question 1
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one‑half, so‑called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds issued in order to pay costs of the Town’s new Police Station project, located at 16 Jerome Smith Road?
Ballot Question 2
Shall the Town of Provincetown be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one‑half, so‑called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds issued in order to pay costs of the Cannery Wharf Park Development Project, located at 387 Commercial Street?
Ballot Question 3
Whereas, Cape Cod Bay is a federal and state protected area and habitat for the endangered Right Whale; and
Whereas, Cape Cod Bay provides a vital livelihood for fishermen and the tourist industry; and
Whereas, The National Academies of Science has determined there is no safe dose of ionizing radiation,
Whereas, One radioactive element in Holtec Pilgrim water is Tritium, which concentrates up the food hand from sediment to sea grasses to the fish we eat; and
Whereas, Holtec Pilgrim can discharge radioactive water anytime without approval of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission [NRC]; and
Whereas, The Attorney General of New Mexico has filed a lawsuit against the NRC for unlawful proceedings and illegal activities involving Holtec; and
Whereas, The Commonwealth has the authority to stop the dumping;
Shall the people of the Town of Provincetown direct the local government to communicate with Governor Charlie Baker, Attorney General Maura Healey, and the State Legislature to employ all means available to ensure that Holtec commits to immediately withdraw any plans to dump any radioactive water into Cape Cod Bay?

PREPARATION AND PAINTING OF THE EXTERIOR OF THE PROVINCETOWN LIBRARY
Sealed, labeled bids will be received at the Town of Provincetown, Town Hall, Attn: Alex Morse, Town Manager/Chief Procurement Officer, Town of Provincetown, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657 until 3:00 p.m. on May 5, 2022 at which time they will be opened and read publicly in the Town Hall Caucus Room. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the washing, scraping, repair of rotted materials, and painting of the exterior building envelope as outlined in Exhibit A General Specifications and the specifications, available on the Town of Provincetown website www.provincetown-ma.gov under “Bid Opportunities”. Copies may also be obtained provided, at the DPW Office in the Veterans Memorial Community Center. the Town of Provincetown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal that appears to be in the best interest of the Town.
