Susannah Elisabeth Fulcher Staff Writer
Susannah Elisabeth Fulcher was born in Austria to a Wellfleetian mother. She worked as a journalist for the Bookseller Magazine in London, taught creative writing at the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore in Paris and holds an MFA from Brown University. Susannah now lives full-time in Wellfleet with her husband, two daughters, four goats, 16 chickens, one dog and two cats.

Christine Legere is a veteran reporter, with 35 years of experience covering news in the south of Boston area.
Edward Miller Editor
Edward Miller is co-founder and editor of the Provincetown Independent. He previously founded two small newspapers, the Harvard Post and the Bolton Common, a publishing company, the Harvard Common Press, and was founding editor of Highwire, a national news magazine for high school students. His work has been honored by the Educational Press Association of America and by the New England Newspaper and Press Association. Ed taught writing at Harvard and at Sarah Lawrence College. He co-authored How to Produce a Small Newspaper: A Guide for Independent Journalists. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s in education, both from Harvard University.
Andy Pyman Web Guru
Andy Pyman is a lifelong New Englander who hopped around the region until he ended up in his current home of Somerville, MA. Andy helps keep the Indie website up and running using the skills he has honed as owner of Truly Good Design, the go-to web development firm for local organizations in the Greater Boston area.
Thomas Recchio Staff Writer
A long time summer resident and new year-round resident of Wellfleet, Tom Recchio recently retired after a thirty-year career as a Professor of English at the University of Connecticut. At the Independent he works primarily on obituaries, which he finds challenging and deeply engaging

Emma Doyle is a yoga teacher, writer, and surfer in pursuit of a life well-lived in Wellfleet. She also works with local businesses as an advertising account manager for the Independent.
