PROVINCETOWN — Mable Annette Chosse of Provincetown died on March 24, 2020, at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. She was 90.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Edith Beane. She married Paul F. Chosse following World War II.
A lifelong artist, she graduated from the Mass. College of Art in Boston and later received a master’s degree from Lowell University. She taught art at both the primary and secondary levels, her favorite medium being watercolor. After retiring in 1989, she moved to Provincetown and continued to paint seascapes.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Chosse of Dunstable and David Chosse of Provincetown. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband and by sons Paul S. and Mark S. Chosse.
She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Paul, at Brewster Cemetery, in a private graveside service. A celebration of Mable’s life will be held at a time and date to be announced.
