A memorial service for Amy Jo Paine of Wellfleet and Orleans, who died at 62 on June 24, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9 at the Nickerson Funeral Home, 340 Main St., Wellfleet. “Help us send Amy off on one last horseback ride into the sunset,” wrote her son, Dan Gold. Her obituary will be published in next week’s Independent.
