Open my eyes with the sun,
bright over my shoulder,
and uniform clear blue sky in front.
A string of trees stand ahead of that blue,
with one tree,
too thin for its height,
gently rocking with a slight wind.
Just as I,
in my spot,
unpredictably move about,
in life’s spectrum of winds,
that come and go.
