Improvincetown presents a free afternoon of improv activities for kids at Wellfleet Public Library (55 West Main St.) on Thursday, July 3. Free the Whales! (Monday, July 7)
At the Center for Coastal Studies’ Junior MAER Entanglement Responder Program at the SEA Space Marine Discovery Center at Whaler’s Wharf (237 Commercial St., Provincetown) on Monday, July 7, 11 a.m., kids ages 6 to 12 will learn how to free a whale or sea turtle trapped in fishing lines; see videos, photos, and tools from real-world disentanglement operations; and try their hand at “rescuing” a whale. $15 ($10 for CCS members.) Puppets and Pals (Tuesday, July 8)
